You will see for example the New Market (De Waag), the Old Church, the Red Light District, The Royal Palace, Western Church, The Jordan, Vondelpark etc. You will also see less known but beautiful spots in the Centre. This guided bike tour will start by taking you on train to the beautiful picturesque area of the “ Zaanstreek” / The Zaan river where your bikes will be waiting for you for an unforgettable 1,5 hour bike tour along typical Dutch country side area with its beautiful windmills and industrial inheritage. The guide will tell you about the rich history of this area along the Zaan River. You will see lots of windmills from the 17th century, beautiful nature and very old factories. After this bike tour you will have a picknick by the windmills. Afterwards, you will get a tour in the clog factory where you will see how wooden shoes were made in the old days. After that, you will go to the cheese farm where you will see how cheeze is made and you will taste several kinds of cheese. Starting place: Central Station in front of the Tourist Office. The Country Side Bike Tour
The charming beauty of Holland awaits you on this special tour. Since our location is just by the ferry, we will start this tour by taking you on a 5-minute ferry ride to the other side of the water. After biking along open fields with typical picturesque Dutch landscape, you will reach several beautiful villages like “Broek in Waterland” with cow farms and dykes.
